To create natural photographs, we think about where the children are most comfortable and the kinds of things we want to see in the photographs.  Our favorite locations include parks, beaches and family homes.  During the winter, we love to shoot in the snow, where your kids are sledding, or in ice rinks while they skate.  The possibilities are endless.  If you can think it up, we can make it happen...

Portrait sessions typically last between an hour and two, and we can photograph all members of the family, including pets.  We can also provide more traditional formal or informal posed photography while we are there if so desired.  As we are taking pictures, feel free to adlib, make requests, ask questions or dream up new ideas. 

Once the portrait session is complete, we invite you to sit down with a photographer at our studio to view the photographs on our projector, life size.  This allows you to see the subtle differences in expression, examine minute details and decide exactly which photographs you want printed.  We can convert them to black and white, sepia toned, high and low saturation color and tone them to suit the mood of the photograph and the decor of your home.
